Cook Book  The Legacy of Grace

I wrote this book as project of passion more than a project for profit.  I'm neither a famous author nor a world renowned chef. I receive very little profit.  What profit I may receive will go to my Great Niece's college fund.  Most of the cost is for printing and distribution.  That's just the way it is when one self publishes.

When my mother was a young teenager she started a recipe book as part of  a school homemaking project.  She kept it over the years and continued to collect recipes that she either created on her own or gathered from family, friends, and acquaintances.   She loved to create in the kitchen.   Mom passed away March 17, 1973 at the age of 56.  I was 19 years old.  Throughout my adult life I have moved multiple times.   Apart from family photos, her recipe book was the one memento of her that I held on to and have treasured in my whole life.

This book is more than recipes that I have chosen to share (there are many more contained in the original recipe book), it is also my family biography of sorts.  The recipes for the most part are simple basic home style type dishes.  I, like my mother, enjoy cooking.   I love to make things for others to enjoy.   Over the years I have shared various dishes from her collection.  The compliments to me from others were really compliments to her.   When I prepare something from her recipe book, I sense she is right there with me.
